Position: Junior Relationship Manager

 

Role Summary:

As a Junior Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting a Senior Relationship Manager with the comprehensive management of client portfolios, primarily focusing on clients with significant investment activities. This involves a blend of client onboarding, execution of trading activities, participation in marketing initiatives, and performing various administrative duties. The Junior RM is vital in ensuring that our UHNW and HNW clients receive a superior level of banking service. This position is full-time and based in Geneva.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the day-to-day oversight and expansion of client relationships, alongside the Senior RM.
  • Leverage your network to gradually cultivate your own client portfolio.
  • Manage account openings and maintain ongoing communication with clients and across bank departments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client meetings and business travel arrangements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the existing client base and potential prospects, offering relevant investment solutions or services.
  • Assist with compliance, client management projects, and related tasks as required.
  • Facilitate the creation of KYC files, manage the opening and closing of accounts, and support the KYC review process to ensure standards are met promptly.
  • Process client orders in various asset classes including FX, equities, and more, ensuring optimal execution.
  • Handle payment orders, cash management, and corporate actions efficiently, liaising with compliance when necessary.
  • Participate in client communication efforts and events, such as newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or law.
  • At least five years of experience in a junior or assistant role in relationship management on European markets.
  • SAQ CWMA certification preferred.
  • Experience in trading across major asset classes.
  • Keen interest in and understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and portfolio management.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Excellent presentation skills, a high sense of responsibility, and proactive engagement.
  • Residence in Switzerland is required.
  • Native French speaker with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Azqore S2i is beneficial.
  • Up-to-date with technological and social media advancements.
