About the Opportunity

Agius & Partners LLC is hiring on behalf of a prestigious international wealth management platform seeking a Senior Financial Advisor / Senior Private Banker to join its team in Miami.

This is a senior front-office opportunity for an accomplished private banking or wealth management professional with a strong track record advising and acquiring high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, particularly across South Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

In addition to strong individual candidates, our client is also open to considering established teams with complementary market coverage and portable client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Acquire new client assets through personalized advisory and investment solutions
• Deliver comprehensive financial planning and wealth advisory services to individuals and families
• Provide tailored investment guidance aligned with clients’ financial objectives and risk profiles
• Monitor portfolio performance and support advisory, execution, and discretionary investment activity
• Prepare portfolio reviews, investment reports, forecasts, and related client materials
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients across a broad range of wealth management needs
• Contribute to the continued growth of the platform across the target markets
• Maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance, client suitability, and risk awareness
• Work closely with internal product specialists and investment teams to deliver best-in-class solutions

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory
• Strong ability to acquire and develop client relationships within Miami, South Florida, Latin America, and/or Caribbean markets
• Demonstrated commercial success and relationship-building capability
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, and financial market fundamentals
• Ability to advise sophisticated clients on personalized investment strategies
• High level of interpersonal skill, professional maturity, and credibility
• Strong compliance mindset and sound judgment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Advisor or similar front-office wealth management role
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment solutions, and client portfolio construction
• Series 7 (or local equivalent) required
• Series 66 (or 63/65 combination, or local equivalent) required upon hire
• Additional certifications such as CFP, CFA, CPWA, or STEP are advantageous
• Fluency in English required
• Portuguese and/or Spanish may be required depending on market coverage
