Overview: Agius & Partners is hiring an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) on behalf of our client, a top-ranked Swiss private bank based in Geneva. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Swiss bank or with an independent manager in Switzerland. This position is for the Greek desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support Relationship Managers in managing their portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure professional operational account management, clearing all tasks/system alerts directly where possible or via RM if investment-related advice is needed.
  • Maintain knowledge about financial markets and economic data to understand their influence on portfolios and products.
  • Carry out various administrative tasks (preparation of correspondence, expense reports, management of telephone calls and agendas, updating databases and filing, maintaining the schedule, reminding the manager of tasks to be carried out, regularization of deficiencies, etc.).
  • Prepare, update, and follow up on account opening and closing documentation.
  • Support Relationship Managers in drafting investment proposals and in marketing activities (compile presentations, client reception, meetings, business trips, events, etc.).
  • Participate in client meetings and lead parts of the meeting (e.g., documentation formalities, compliance, other client requests) as appropriate.
  • Ensure the transmission, entry, and follow-up of client orders (stock exchange, foreign exchange, fiduciary deposits, loans, guarantees, fund transfers, credit limit set-ups, etc.).
  • Monitor the daily balance position and movements of customer accounts.
  • Assist in preparing clients KYC and related updates.
  • Handle logistical preparation of trips (hotel/restaurant reservations, list of clients to be visited, making appointments, reminding of missing documents, preparing documents, liaising with managers in case of emergency, etc.).
  • Manage incoming (e-mail, courier) and outgoing correspondence (writing, placement proposals).
  • Maintain regular and personalized contact with clients, either by telephone or during visits.
  • Interact with clients independently and professionally in all aspects of account management.
  • Participate in various team tasks such as preparing and sending mail, ordering materials, etc.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss or B or C permit).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of similar experience in a Swiss bank or with an independent manager in Switzerland.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a fast-thinking ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Exceptional situational adaptability (able to work with Relationship Managers and clients from diverse backgrounds).
  • Friendly, trustworthy, and discreet personality with a high level of risk awareness.
  • Highly service-oriented and passionate about client servicing.
  • Systematic, precise, and diligent working style, able to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and oral); additional languages are an advantage especially Greek.
  • Profound knowledge of banking (products and financial markets).
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with speed and flexibility.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.

  • Profound understanding of relevant products, services, and tools in Private Banking.
